Arms full of hugs, large extended family and security awaits your newborn!

My name is Stephanie and I love my job, friends, and family. I have always known I wanted to have a family and be a mom. I’m excited to adopt and chose domestic adoption because I want to provide a child in America with a home full of warmth, stability, and support.

I enjoy sports. I played softball in high school, college, and on my company’s team. One can say I fell in love with baseball when I received a bat, ball, and glove for my 8th birthday. I also love the arts. My first play was when I was six and my grandmother took me to see Babes in Toyland. Recently I went to see Alvin Alley dance performance with my parents. My hope is to share my love of sports and of the arts with a child.

My large network of support includes family and friends. My family consists of parents, aunts, uncles, cousins, brother, sister-in-law, nieces, and nephews. My friends embody love and warmth. Many of them I’ve known for over fifteen years and met while in the Peace Corps, at my first job, and even on a trip.

The children in my life range from 2 months old to 15 years old. The oldest, Maddie, is my goddaughter. She can’t wait to babysit!

As a high school teacher, I’ve witnessed how encouragement plays a large part of success. I’ve seen how students self-confidence has grown, how their questioning develops into analytical skills, and how their research into social issues expanded into the spirit of volunteerism. Whether it’s school, dancing, arts, or sports I will be encouraging and supportive.

Thank you for your consideration. I know the decision is not an easy one. I will provide a home that is safe and secure, filled with love and opportunity.

Expenses will be paid.

Who We Are

I went into teaching after a career in business. Teaching has changed how I perceive success. Success is now measured by seeing a student gain self confidence, accomplishing a challenging task, speaking in front of a classroom, rejoicing when they got into their choice college, or when they got their first job.

I have experienced many joyous events in my life. I set goals, like getting a M.B.A, changing careers, and going traveling. Some goals take longer to achieve than others, but I keep at it.

Staying positive and redefining the term success has made my life a happy one, and a life I will like to share by being a mom.
