We met online nearly 9 years ago after chatting everyday for several weeks. When we finally met, our first date was over 7 hours long. After that we were inseparable and married 3 years later. In the nearly nine years that we’ve been together, we have gone on many adventures- from swimming in a waterfalls in Jamaica to exploring Machu Picchu in Peru. Our biggest adventure though, has been raising our three year old son Jordan and our dog Squeegee. Being parents have taught us that life’s greatest joys are in the simplest things- jumping in rain puddles, dancing in our pajamas, and at the end of the day spending some quality time with just the two of us.
We are so excited to share our love of play and adventure with another little one.
We live in a wonderful neighborhood with warm and friendly neighbors. Several evenings a week, the neighborhood kids congregate in one of our front yards and ride bikes together, play hide and seek, and more. We have two large parks in our neighborhood, one of them just down the street. We live in a great school district with a diverse student and family population.
We live in a 3 bedroom home that is filled with light coming from over 4 skylights. We have a spacious fenced-in front patio with a sandbox, filled with trucks and shovels. In the backyard, we have a covered patio, a water play area, and a lush grassy lawn where everyone can play.
Johnhan is honest, loyal, and always sees the best in people and situations. He shows love by doing and is truly the most playful and caring father that I know. During the day, Johnhan is a senior engineer at a biomedical device company, making life saving technologies. When he gets home though, his silly side comes out and he can play with Jordan for hours. He is the fun dad that the neighborhood kids and our nieces and nephews love to hang out with.
Johnhan was on the swim and water polo team in high school. He loves snowboarding, football, and basketball. He looks forward to sharing this love of sports and encouraging our children to lead active, healthy lives.
Jeanne is so caring and nurturing to me, our son, and our dog. She also is our family’s fun director and is always thinking up new places to explore and fun things to do. She is also a really great cook and loves to entertain our friends and family. For work, she is a Student Services Manager at a top University, helping her students make the most of their time in school. Her work is flexible and allows her to work from home one day a week. Jeanne looks forward to spending special one-on-one time with each of our children.
Jeanne is also very creative and loves to decorate our home with art, including her own original paintings. Jeanne also loves gardening and growing fruits and vegetables. She has encouraged our son to enjoy art and gardening and is excited to show another little one one the joy of creating and growing.
