We are a family of 3 and are hoping to become a family 4 through adoption!
To Someone Special,
Thank you for taking the time to learn more about us. Our names are Ken and Emmie and we have a 4-year-old daughter together. We would love nothing more than to become a family of four through adoption. Our daughter would be a wonderful big sister and we, as parents, cannot wait for the two children to have that special sibling relationship. There is an abundance of love, laughter and fun that will be provided to your child if you chose the path of adoption with us. We realize that this decision must be a difficult one for you to make and we admire your strength and courage as you pursue this path for your baby. Our hope is that you can get a sense of who we are as a family, like what you see, and reach out to us! We truly wish you the best throughout this process and are here for you if you’d like to talk and get to know us better.
Kenny and I grew up one town over from each other. We started dating when we were in High School and were inseparable for many years. After college we did split up for some time, but as fate would have it we wound up getting back together. This led us to our engagement, marriage, the purchase of our home, and the birth of our daughter. Kenny and I really like spending time together. We have fun doing the simple things. Like getting a cup of coffee and going for a beach drive. Or strolling through the nature preserve, going out for a nice dinner and even just watching a movie together.
Now that we are parents we strive to make our relationship even stronger than it was before. Being parents has made us mindful in everything we say and do! Our goal is to raise happy, thoughtful, caring and self-assured children. We cannot teach our children to be the best that they can be if we have not tried to be the best parents that we can be. We are not perfect, but we know the importance of being good role models. We would feel so blessed to have another child in our family.
This is such a delicious pastry and I look forward to this little treat each year on St. Joseph’s Day. My grandmother who passed always used to send me up to the bakery to get “sphinx”. Although I no longer can sit and enjoy this with her, I now share this tradition with my husband and daughter.
Well we did not get a shortage of cold weather this year, but we did get a shortage of snow. So when we finally got enough accumulation we went out and made a snowman! To say our daughter was thrilled is an understatement.
