We met each other in Spring 2013. Joe had just moved to the area to start a job as an attorney, and Zach was teaching kindergarten. We hit it off over drinks and dinner and have not looked back since. Joe proposed to Zach in New York City in Central Park and we were married in Fall 2015.
Our love and happiness toward one another is more than we could have hoped for and we truly feel like we each found the person we were meant to end up with. Our personalities compliment each other and we view our relationship as a true partnership. We cannot wait to bring a child into our life to share our joy, happiness, and love with.
We live in a four bedroom house in a suburb outside of Rochester, NY. It is the same town in which Zach grew up and offers so much for families to take advantage of. The Erie Canal, libraries, restaurants, beautiful parks, and wonderful schools are all within walking distance of our home.
Our neighborhood is extremely child-friendly with walking trails, green spaces and neighbors who care and look out for one another. We have a wonderful front porch and beautiful, fenced backyard that our dog cannot wait to share with our new addition.
Joe holds a law degree and is licensed to practice as an attorney in New York State. He currently works as a clerk for a judge in a state court. His job is intellectually challenging, but also very rewarding because the cases resolve important issues in the lives of everyday people.
Joe is a caring, organized, and thoughtful person who loves spending time with friends and family. Outside of work, Joe enjoys doing home improvement projects, golfing, playing soccer, and throwing the frisbee with our dog Toby in the backyard.
Zach is excited to see Joe become a dad and cannot wait to see Joe playing soccer and running around the yard with our child.
Zach has a dual Masters degree in Education and Special Education. He is currently in his sixth year teaching at a local Montessori School and teaches in a primary classroom with 3-5 year old students. There is never a dull moment at work and Zach would have it no other way. He absolutely loves working with kids and cannot wait for his son or daughter to be able to come to work with him.
Zach is a kind-hearted, witty, and easy going individual who cares deeply about his friends and family as well as the children that he teaches every day in his classroom. Outside of work, Zach enjoys reading books, socializing with friends, and taking Toby on walks while listening to a new podcast.
Joe cannot wait to see Zach become a dad and is looking forward to being able to tap into Zach's expertise to provide our child with the best education possible.
