We are a fun loving couple who can't wait to have a family of our own. We love to go on adventures & create memories

Every family has a story...
...welcome to ours.

Hi there! We are Andy and Melissa, a happily married couple living on Long Island.

There are no words that can express how excited we are to have a family of our own. Both of us grew up surrounded by family who loved us unconditionally, who supported every choice we made, and who encouraged us to be who we are.

We want to adopt a child because a child will make our family complete. We cannot have a child of our own, but we love the idea of a big family. We always wanted to have a family of our own, complete with two children so they each had someone to play with at all times. We want to adopt a child because we can't imagine our lives without a child or family.

To us, being a parent means giving unwavering support and love. It means putting your child before yourself and knowing that as long as they're happy, healthy, and loved, your life is complete. It means sacrificing to make sure your child has everything they need, seeing them through the hard times and celebrating the great times. Being a parent means baking at all hours of the night because they have a school party they next day, getting dirty with finger paints because their picture needs to be just perfect. Being a parent means sitting up with them when they're sick, rocking them in your arms, and reading out loud their favorite story.

We can offer a child love, stability, and unconditional support; a child a safe space where they can be who they want and we will love them no matter what. We can offer them excitement in our adventures, and appreciation of the live around them. We like to live life by seizing the day.

Thank you so much for considering us as adoptive parents and we look forward to speaking with you

Adoption Diary

Our Furbabies: Tootsie and Femi

Good Morning! We wanted to introduce you to some of family members that we have: Tootsie and Femi. You guessed it, they’re our dogs. Our furry, adorable, like children dogs. Tootsie is 9 years old and Femi is 7 but they still act like little puppies. They are best friends, sisters even, and look out for each other always. Femi can’t be anywhere without Tootsie, though sometimes Tootsie will like her alone time.

Honestly, these dogs are one of the greatest joys we have…there’s nothing like coming home to a dog who is so ridiculously happy that you’re home that, even if you’re having a bad day, the bad day disappears.

They love to cuddle and somehow always know when you need just a little more attention. These dogs are amazing, I swear.

And we can’t wait to introduce them to a new, human, brother or sister.

This is Halloween

Happy October everyone! We’ll let you in on a little secret…October is Andy’s favorite month. And we mean absolute favorite.

Andy love, love, LOVES Halloween and everything about it! He loves getting dressed up in ridiculous, and most of the time frightening costumes, and scaring kids as they walk up to get candy. He even created his own little “haunted path” at Melissa’s mother’s house when the two of them were dating.

A few years ago, when Andy and Melissa moved into their own house, he creating a haunted shed out of his very own shed. He had clear plastic sheets handing down with dried red paint on it. Dim lights hung from the ceiling and Melissa joined in, rocking on a rocker at the very end.

Last year, Andy found the perfect part-time gig. He became a ghoul at a Haunted House in New York. He met other people who loved dressing up and scaring people as much as he did. Melissa joined him for a bit, but scaring people isn’t here thing. (She’s definitely the “watch cute Halloween movies in your PJs on the weekend” type of person)

This is his second year doing it and he cannot wait. This year he upped his game and created a “chainsaw hand” with real sounds! Oh to be a fly on the wall of that Haunted House

T-minute four days until his unveiling!
