Lovely to meet you

We know you must be on a roller coaster of emotions right now, so thank you for taking the time to get to know us.

Through this page, hopefully you'll see that we are a laid-back couple that enjoys family life, connecting with friends and spending time with our dog and cat. Our favorite activities include playing with our nephew and nieces, going to sporting events, museums, the aquarium, and plays. We also started a new tradition of visiting a different city every year for our birthdays. It's important for us to learn about different cultures and experience life to the fullest.

We have no children, but adoption has always been the plan for expanding our family. Through participating in adoption groups, we are learning how adoption affects everyone involved, which will help us maintain an ethical adoption plan with you. We'd like you to know that whether you choose adoption or choose to parent, there will be no judgement from us. Everyone in our life has been supportive of our plan to adopt. We are hoping for an open or semi open adoption so that your child will know their biological family and learn about their heritage. We believe that keeping open communication with you is what would be best for your child.

Best of luck to you on your journey and thank you for considering us :)

Who We Are

Our adventure really began with our 1st date. We went mini golfing and tried batting cages. Andrew was much better at these, but thankfully, we had an instant connection! Andrew loved that Erin was independent and Erin loved that Andrew joked often. We were married 3 years later at the William Penn Inn. We both loved their vintage style right away. Though our careers are important to us (Erin is a Dietitian at a dialysis center and Andrew is a Freight driver for Fed Ex), we always knew that we would like to expand our family through adoption. We do not have any other children- just our dog Markie and our cat Charlee. They are affectionate and are friendly with children.

We happen to be very passionate about animals. Erin is often researching ways to contribute to animal welfare projects and we both enjoy going to the aquarium or zoo as a weekend activity. In addition, Andrew is a huge sports fan and can often be found watching or going to a baseball or football games with friends and family. He would especially enjoy being involved as a coach of a little league team one day.

We are also very close with our extended families as you will see in our pictures. Most of our family lives close to us and are great support systems. Both of our parents enjoy babysitting their current grandchildren often and taking them to the park or reading time at the library! Caring for our nieces and nephew have taught us so much about life and helped us prepare for a little one.

Adoption Diary

The virus

We are still working as we are essential employees, but it’s been difficult not to see our family. So, tonight, Erin FaceTimed with our nephew Evan. We made funny faces and had a blast! It definitely brightened our mood.

Once a week, I (Erin) go to my parents house after work to spend time with my nephew and help out while they are babysitting. My nephew is currently more into superheros than sports, but yesterday my mom and I tried to teach him how to play football (as best we know how). After our amateur game of football ended, we played hide and seek and then read books. Spending time with my nephew so often has helped us bond and has really helped me prepare to become a mom.
