We love holidays like this.
We spend the morning swimming in the pool with some of our neighbors and their children in our condo complex. The weather has been sunny and hot, but great for the pool. We then took a trip to the local grocery store to get some items for Carrie to make a holiday treat. Strawberries and blueberries with whipped cream cheese, cool whip, vanilla extract and powdered sugar. We can’t wait to share them with our neighbors tonight as we watch fireworks from our home. The fireworks are so beautiful and can be seen high over trees. We even light sparklers and wear glow sticks.
It doesn’t matter where you’re going.
It’s who you have beside you.
Each year we try to incorporate what have become traditional trips.
~ Spending Valentine’s Day in New York City.
~ Visiting the New York Botanical Gardens for their different events.
~ Attending sporting events and cheering on our favorite teams.
~ Apple and Pumpkin picking in the Fall.
~ Most recently, spending our summer vacations in Newport, Rhode Island.
~ Trips every couple of years to visit Carrie’s younger brother in Florida.
~ Museums and historical exhibits.
~ Trying new restaurants.
We would love to share these experiences and new ones with your child.
Life is an adventure of passion, risk, laughter, beauty and love.
