Warm thoughts from a loving couple with family values, faith and culture.
Wherever your heart is right now, we hope you may feel supported and cared for as you read this. We are amazed by your strength and rooting for you.
Our names are Jason and Mayu. We do not have children but we're blessed with good health, strong faith, and love for family. It is our greatest wish to expand our family through an open adoption. We are with an agency and home study approved for domestic adoption.
Thank you for visiting our page. Our sincere wish for you is that you find exactly what you are looking for. We were once comforted by a nurse who told us she had overcome an illness, went on to get her nursing degree, then returned to work at the same hospital where she was treated years before. She gave us hope that we could heal and go on to do amazing things. We hope this message may be uplifting to you, and we wish all the best for you.
We see Jason’s family often. We enjoy playing card games, dining out, visiting the beach, and going to baseball games.
We carve pumpkins for Halloween
In the summer, we visit this beach town. We enjoy reading by the water, collecting shells, kayaking, walking the boardwalk, and playing mini golf.

Who We Are
We have been married for 3 years and together for 8. Jason is a Master Sergeant in the Air National Guard and works for a Police Department full time. Mayu has worked in nonprofit operations for 10 years and since 2012, for an organization that supports older adults. We've both worked with children and love caring for our friends’ children. We wish very much to become parents through adoption.
Maintaining relationships is important to us. Our best friends are people we befriended in 1st grade, over 25 years ago. We keep in close contact with our families and see them as often as possible. Jason’s extended family lives an hour away in his hometown and is deeply rooted there; Mayu’s family heritage is Japanese. As parents, we would celebrate all the family backgrounds.
We lead a peaceful and balanced life. In our free time, we enjoy walking our dog Ginger, attending neighborhood events, dining at local restaurants, and going to baseball games. We look forward to sharing these experiences with a child. We would also share our faith with our child. We worship at a nearby Presbyterian church where Mayu is a Deacon and Financial Secretary. Our congregation is praying for us.
Mayu worked Friday morning from home and in the afternoon, we went downtown for an appointment. We had dinner in town afterwards. On Saturday, we volunteered for our church Easter Egg hunt then took advantage of the nice weather by walking Ginger around our neighborhood. We took a big loop, walked past the horse stables, followed the trails through a meadow, went through a playground, and returned home. We started our vegetable garden by planting seeds in containers. This morning we went to church, had lunch at fellowship hour, and Mayu had her monthly deacon meeting. We met with friends in the afternoon. It was a quiet and fulfilling weekend.
