Who We Are
We met 11 years ago and got to know each other because we were both active at our church. As we realized we had many things in common – including cooking, trying new restaurants, and exploring new places – we decided to spend our lives together. Our home is filled with a lot of laughter and is always a peaceful place to be. Our relationship is one of mutual respect and a shared faith, which helps guide us through all of life’s decisions, both big and small.
Our adopted daughter, Lucy, is 2 and we love to explore her Hispanic heritage. We all love to spend time together playing, reading stories, listening to music (she loves to dance), and learning more about the world.
We share a passion for exploring other countries and visiting friends. We’ve visited Portugal, Japan, Israel, Southern California, and Maine. We would love to travel with our children. We spend lots of time with friends and family hosting gatherings and cooking together. Our friendly cat spends a lot of time snuggling on our laps!
A big storm dumped several inches of snow… and it was beautiful! We enjoyed building snowmen and playing outside! The next day was gorgeous blue skies - this is my favorite part of winter!
This weekend we set off to see a cute seaside town and then when we arrived our daughter was peacefully napping…. so, we decided to go on a longer drive! We ended up in Portland Maine and enjoyed an afternoon of exploring, visiting a lighthouse and taking in the beautiful views of the water. It was SO cold but worth it!
