Who We Are
We met 11 years ago and got to know each other because we were both active at our church. As we realized we had many things in common – including cooking, trying new restaurants, and exploring new places – we decided to spend our lives together. Our home is filled with a lot of laughter and is always a peaceful place to be. Our relationship is one of mutual respect and a shared faith, which helps guide us through all of life’s decisions, both big and small.
Our adopted daughter, Lucy, is 2 and we love to explore her Hispanic heritage. We all love to spend time together playing, reading stories, listening to music (she loves to dance), and learning more about the world.
We share a passion for exploring other countries and visiting friends. We’ve visited Portugal, Japan, Israel, Southern California, and Maine. We would love to travel with our children. We spend lots of time with friends and family hosting gatherings and cooking together. Our friendly cat spends a lot of time snuggling on our laps!
We took this picture right before heading out on a small hike in Massachusetts. About 15 minutes into the hike it started to rain so hard! Our daughter thought we had all taken a bath :) It wasn’t how we had planned the afternoon but it was a fun adventure and we had a lot of laughs jogging back to the car! We dried off and waited for the storm to pass.
Looking back to summertime adventures and looking forward to it being warm again! This is us during a long weekend in Vermont this summer. It was so beautiful and a lovely change of scenery!
