We are a happy, loving solid Christian couple, and we honestly believe in strong values, family, friends and love.
There is laughter and love in our house every day.
We were both born in Italy and moved to New York in 1998. We consider ourselves international people and multilingual: We speak English, Italian, Spanish, French and Portuguese.
We met about 20 years ago in Brussels, Belgium (where we were working), through a group of common friends. It was love at first sight. We realized that we had crossed each other paths about three years earlier while studying international law in College. We actually graduated on the same day! We like to think that destiny wanted us to be together!
After two years together, we married in 1998 in a beautiful medieval castle (built in 1300) close to Venice, Italy. It was a super nice and funny wedding. There were about 350 people between friends and family. After a delicious Italian dinner and a strawberry huge cake, we danced all night long with an amazing band playing alive.
Last year we celebrated our 19th anniversary together.
After many disappointing negative pregnancy test results and IVF cycles, our desire to become parents became strong.
After years of hopes and prayers, in 2015 we finally adopted from Florida our daughter Ally who is almost 3.We are so incredibily grateful to Ally’s wonderful birth family. She made us incredibly happy and we believe that a sibling relationship is one of the biggest gifts a parent can give a child.
We love sports (biking, skiing, sailing, playing tennis and volleyball). We are also crazy for travels (we visited all continents: Asia, Europe, Americas, Australia and Africa). Above all, we like being at the beaches!
We enjoy a lot being with our friends from all over the world and spend our vacations with our families.
We live in a very large apartment (2400 sqf) and we also have a country home for the week-ends. Our apt has plenty of light and space for inviting friends, having large dinners and for our daughter to play with her little friends. She has a large bedroom with a lot of toys. It is in a very nice neighborhood, close to nice parks, playgrounds and school district.
