We are Lauren and Phillip, family of two! We have known since we met that adoption would be a part of our story and are so excited to share our story with you. It is hard to sum up our lives in a few pages and pictures, but our hope is that you can see the love that we share and the big LOVE that we have and cannot wait to give to a child.
Although we cannot begin to understand what you are going through, we are so humbled by your courage and strength. Thank you for considering us.
Traveling to spend time with family and Phillip's friends he grew up with in Korea. AND got to tour an Air Force plane!
Trying to stay healthy!
Visiting Phillip's best friend and their littles in Texas.
We make gingerbread houses every year during Christmas time. The girls make the houses and the boys judge the winners.
Dancing King!! Phillip dances when people are looking and aren't looking!
Who We Are
How it all started:)
Phillip moved to the Seattle area for his job four years ago and happened upon the same hair salon that Lauren goes to (yes, jokes for years!). Lauren grew up mostly in one place (Seattle area) and enjoyed working with kids and spending her free time with friends and doing anything active and outdoors. Phillip grew up in many different places and enjoyed traveling, spending time with friends, cooking and going to church. We dated for three years and in that time our two worlds naturally integrated. Now we do most of our favorite things together (although thankfully for Lauren, Phillip still cooks and thankfully for Phillip, Lauren runs by herself;)). Both of us have always wanted to have a family and are so excited for the path of adoption.
We are so lucky to have lots of family near and far. Although we have family in Virginia, Massachusetts, North Carolina, Texas and Seattle, we always feel loved and supported. Holidays, birthdays and special celebrations are important to all of us. Our entire family is so excited for the next chapter in our lives as we start our family.
We spent last weekend with our family on the East Coast and loved it! Just got home and miss them already:(
It was so fun telling our nephews about adoption and how they will have more cousins soon. They cannot wait to have more cousins to play with and share all they know about their favorite things (airplanes, bikes, scooters, football, their dog).
Thank You for Visiting Our Adoption Profile
We want to thank you for considering us as adoptive parents for your child.
We truly appreciate your kindness and strength and look forward to hearing from you.
