We met on a camping trip with friends. You could call it “love at first sight.” We’ve been together ever since. We were married in the spring of 2004.
We live in a three bedroom traditional home in a private community with a pool and playground. We have a patio and beautiful grounds. Many of the families in our neighborhood have young children. Summer picnics, bring a dish suppers and informal get togethers happen often. Our town has parks, beaches, marinas and lots of family activities.
Penny is the youngest child of two daughters. Her mom is a retired special education teacher and her dad is a retired physics teacher. Living very close to grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins means a lot of time spent with family. Penny’s whole family gets together every year for a Christmas celebration. They also get together for a large family picnic on the Fourth of July. Penny grew up with a kind and loving support system that is always there for her.
Penny is smart, warm and caring. Her career as an Occupational Therapist at a nursing home and a hospital has given her years of experience helping children, adults and the elderly. Now, Penny is looking forward to being a stay at home mom.
Eric is the oldest child of two, having one sister. Eric’s mother is a retired business professional and his father is a retired engineer. Like Penny, much of his childhood memories are of time spent with immediate and extended family who always lived close by.
Eric is very intelligent, funny and has an easy going personality. He loves anything technical such as computers, radio controlled helicopters and home electronics. Eric gives his time generously to family and friends any time they need help. Eric works as a computer engineer.
