Our story began 7 years ago! We actually met in an online dating website! We talked on the phone for about 2 weeks and then Seth came to meet me in Texas. We never looked back. We both knew we were in love after that first weekend. We got engaged in late April 2010. 3 weeks later I found out I was pregnant. We got married on July 17, 2010.
Our first son, was born very prematurely at 24 weeks. Due to severe congenital heart defects, our sweet firstborn baby boy died after 10 precious hours. Seth Jr would be turning 7 on October 3rd. We miss him every single day.
Our second son, Sage, was born in 2012! It was a very difficult pregnancy that required me to be on bed rest and have my cervix sewn shut. My pregnancy was riddled with high blood pressure and severe preeclampsia. Our baby boy was worth every second of it though. Now he's 5 and a half, just started Kindergarten and is smart as a whip. He loves animals, especially reptiles. He wants to be a veterinarian!
Our 3rd sweet baby boy, Sunny, was born in November 2013! My pregnancy with him was also difficult, high blood pressure, preeclampsia, and placenta previa. When he was born he had trouble breathing and had to be in NICU for several days. His problems eventually resolved and we got to bring him home. Sunny is a wild card and always entertaining. He has the funniest personality and has the biggest heart. He loves babies and can't wait to be a big brother.
Sage and Sunny are like peas and carrots. They love each other so much. Sage is such a devoted big brother. Sure they fight and argue, but they really are the best of friends.
We own our own Roofing and Spray Foam business here in Oklahoma! We live in a small town and are very involved in our community. Seth is on the ambulance board and I am a member of the City Council. I plan and coordinate several fun events for our town, including a 4th of July Parade and Fireworks, a Halloween festival, and a Christmas parade and program.
I am so blessed to be a stay at home momma. Seth works so hard to provide for our family. He is a wonderful Daddy and husband. We have a very strong marriage and work hard to nurture our relationship as husband and wife. Our favorite thing is fishing!
We love camping in our camper and taking the boat to the lake. We have a beautiful lake not far from our house and we are there quite often! We love travelling with our families and visiting new places. We love going to the mountains every summer.
We really feel like our family is still missing a piece, a baby girl!
We own our home in a small rural town! We walk our kids to and from school a couple of blocks away. My Mom jokes that we live in Mayberry, an all American town!
We have a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house. We have a front living room and a den! Currently, the boys share a bed room. Our 3rd room serves as a guest room/playroom! If and when we are chosen to be adoptive parents, we would most likely add on to our home! After our failed adoption/scam we took the nursery down. I hope to decorate with pink and baby elephants though! I have a vision in my head! We have a large back yard and patio where we spend a lot of time. Our vegetable and flower gardens are also quite fun! (I'm also in Garden Club!)
Seth is a natural leader. He is bold and fearless. He is strong and yet humble. He is such a loving and kind husband. He is such a good father. He is patient and gentle, but firm and consistent. He loves playing with the boys, whether it's dressing up like superheros and shooting Nerf guns or playing zoo with little plastic animals. He is already teaching the boys about roofing and work ethic.
He is a really good boss to our employees. He is generous and fair.
He would be the perfect Daddy to a sweet baby girl.
Kindrah is such a good mom and wife. She is always taking care of someone. She has a heart as big as Texas. She is fun and adventurous. She loves her children and her family with all her heart. She is a really good wife and always takes such good care of me as her husband. She loves to cook and anything to do with art and crafts. She loves photography, mostly taking pictures of our kids. She is making sure our kids are raised right in a world that sometimes is pretty rough. I love that she likes staying home and taking care of our home and helping our kids. When we met she was working in an oncology clinic as a nurse, it was one of the things that made me fall in love her. Her compassion and empathy for others is inspiring. The only thing missing is a little girl to be her shopping buddy!
