Hello!

Dear Friend,

Thank you so much for taking the time to learn about us, and for considering us as you make the selfless decision of who will parent your child. Our hope is that through this profile, you will be able to see the love we have for each other, our families, and our future child. We can’t wait for the day that we become parents and we are so excited to welcome a child into our home and our family.

Adoption is something that has always been close to our hearts. After trying unsuccessfully to begin our family in other ways, we have no doubts that this is the journey we want to be on as we start our family. It makes no difference to us how our children come to us, they will forever be unconditionally loved and supported. We are excited to adopt, and we cannot wait to meet the child that will be part of our family.

We want you to know the immense respect and love we feel for you already. You are a pure example of what true, unconditional love and bravery is, and we are so impressed with your ability to do something so selfless. We cannot imagine a decision more important, or difficult, than the one you are considering. We pray for you each day, that you may have the strength and the courage you need as you journey through this process. First and foremost, we know that you want what is best for your baby, and we pray that you will find us to be all that you hope for for your child.

Love,
Ty & Brittany

Who We Are

We were both born and raised in Utah, and love the country way of life. Though we love living in a smaller community, we are still right by the city. We are lucky to have all of our family close by.

We met 7 years ago when Brittany was teaching 2nd grade at a school in Ty's hometown. We were introduced not long after her starting there and we started dating right away, instantly becoming the best of friends. After six months of dating we were engaged, and a few months later, on June 23, 2011, we were married. We are lucky to both come from families that we have very strong relationships with, and we are excited to add a child to ours!

Family is something that is very important to us. It truly is one of life's greatest blessings. We pray each and every day for the day to come that we get to welcome a precious child into our home. We promise that we will love your little one with everything we've got.

THINGS THAT WE LOVE

It really doesn't matter what we do, as long as we get to do it together. Some of these things include:

-Spending time in the mountains, whether it's a camping trip with family, friends, or just each other, or going to our favorite ma and pa hamburger shop and coming back over the mountains to look for wildlife.

-We love to go golfing, even though we are both just learning.

-We love riding the horses.

-We love rodeos, amusement parks with the family, swimming, sporting events, fishing, and going for snow cones or milkshakes.

-We love to take walks or go for bike rides on our town trail that follows the river.

-We love getting together with our family and playing games, or just hanging out.

-One of our favorite Friday night date nights is to just get take-out, get in our comfy's, and watch Dateline.

-We love barbecuing and are both suckers for a good steak, baked potato, and grilled corn on the cob.

-We love to travel and see new places.

We could go on and on about the things we love to do, but every time we are out and about we always say, "We can't wait to share these experiences with our children." One thing we know for sure is that even though we love to do these things, and many others together, we can't wait until we have a little one, or little ones, to join us and love all the things that we love to do!

Last night we decided to have a date night.  Nothing huge, just simple. Grabbed a pizza and had a picnic up the canyon.

Friday Night Lights

Friday night we went to the high school football game. Fall is in the air!  Being there reminded us of when we were dating 7 years ago. Where have the years gone. When we were dating, Ty’s brother was a senior and was playing on the high school football team, so we went to a lot of games that year.  In fact, that’s what we did for our first date.

OUR FIRST DATE: After only meeting for a brief moment, Ty asked me out.  The night of our first date we went to dinner with Ty’s friend and his wife. Funny thing was, I knew both of them from my college days.  They had both lived in my apartment complex 6 years earlier.

After dinner, Ty invited me to go to the high school football game with him. Little did I know, I would be meeting almost the entire family. Like I mean, parents, siblings, grandmas, aunts, uncles, and some cousins. Slightly overwhelmed at first, but I quickly fell in love with them all, and am lucky to be apart of that family. While we were there, Ty’s uncle kept asking Ty why he was being so quiet.  I didn’t get why he’d asked that, I thought he was talking plenty.  The next game we went to, I figured out EXACTLY what he meant.  Let’s just say, Ty gets a little into his sport events.

We spent that fall and many since enjoying the Friday Night Lights of our hometown high school.

A LITTLE MORE ABOUT TY:  Ty is an avid sports fan, and has a huge passion for sports!  If Ty ever has the TV on, it’s typically on something sports related. He loves football, especially the Dallas Cowboys. Someday, hopefully, we’ll make it to Texas to see a game.  He definitely gets into the games whether it’s football or basketball, or something else.

Someday we hope that we can support your child in following his or her dreams, and pursuing his or her talents.  Whether it’s sports, academics, art, music, dance, etc.  Whatever it may be, we are glad that we are in a position that we can support him or her in whatever it may be.  And are excited to watch him or her develop those talents, and to see them be the best that they can be.

Thank You for Visiting Our Adoption Profile
