My road to motherhood has not been an easy one. I had always thought that having a child would just happen. But, I found myself in a situation where if I wanted to be a mother, I would need to take action and make some painful changes. I moved 3000 miles home to California and tried to get pregnant on my own, after years of failed fertility treatments and a few painful miscarriages, I decided to try adoption... and I have been trying for almost 4 years now. Adoption has come with many challenges, sacrifices and setbacks. The most difficult being the two failed adoptions that I experienced. But... I have not lost hope. I have faith that everything happens for a reason and that at the right time I will be blessed with a child to love.
I live in Los Angeles California, in the same house that I grew up in. My neighborhood is safe and family friendly... We are close to beaches, libraries, tide pools, hikes, and a playground and a preschool (the same preschool that I once taught at, and went to when I was little!).
California is a beautiful state and living here gives you the unique opportunity to always be a days drive away from big cities to small towns to sunny beaches to snowy mountains to red woods and rocky coast lines. The perfect place to camp, explore and take road trips!
I am easy-going, fun-loving and I love to laugh. I love the outdoors and the sunshine, spending time in museums, seeing live music and trying new things. I love cooking and baking, listening to music, playing video games, gardening, camping and road trips.
I am a web developer and graphic designer. It is a fun, challenging and creative career. It is also one that is remote, so I will be able to be a stay at home mom.
