Thank you so much for taking the time to learn about me! My name is Elizabeth and I live in New York City. I have a great apartment on the East Side, where I reside with my three year old daughter and two little puppies. I work as a physician out on Long Island.
I have wanted to be a mom for as long as I can remember, but it hasn't been an easy road. After several miscarriages, I decided to turn to adoption to create my family. In the summer of 2017, I adopted an amazing three year old girl who is the light and joy of my life. If you are reading this as an expectant mom considering adoption, please know I have so much respect for your courage and strength in making this decision. My daughter's birth-mom is the strongest woman I know, and I feel so blessed and privileged to be sharing my life with her and her daughter.
Thank you again for considering me as a possible adoptive parent to your child. I am so excited to give my daughter a sibling, and to give your child a life filled with love, joy, and opportunity!
My name is Elizabeth. I live in a beautiful apartment on the East side of New York City. I have an amazing three year old daughter, two small dogs, and a grand piano. We live two blocks from the park, and just a few blocks from my daughter's nursery school. I have lived in NYC for almost fifteen years, and have lots of friends nearby. My parents have a home in Boston, but have gotten an apartment in NYC to help me with my daughter. My parents take care of daughter while I am at work. We are very close, and I love taking them to dinner and to shows in the city. My best friend from college also lives nearby. She is like a sister to me, and an aunt to my daughter. We see each other all the time. I am also very close to my brother, but he lives in California, so I only see him a couple times a year.
This summer, we will spend a month on Cape Cod. My daughter will go to a fun day camp both in Manhattan and on Cape Cod. I am really looking forward to enjoying the playtime with our family and friends and hope one day I can share this with your child as well!
**I have not posted any photos of my daughter to respect her privacy, but I am happy to share if you are interested. **
Every year, I take my mom to the “Hat Lunch” in Central Park, to support the Women’s Committee for the Central Park Conservancy. This year the weather was amazing, which made it even better than usual. :)
Two weekends ago, I went to the screening of the Godfather at the Tribeca Film Festival. It’s hard to see from the photo, but on stage were: Al Pacino, Robert DeNiro, Diane Keaton, Francis Ford Coppola, and more. It was pretty cool to hear them talk about the history of the film.
