We hope that through these words and pictures, you will take a glimpse into our lives. We look forward to talking to you, getting to know you and completing our family.
We couldn’t have been more excited for our niece and nephew to visit long island. Growing up in a small town in Upstate NY, we never explored more than an hour from out home and it was usually to go camping. My sister (Kim) has kept that tradition with her family, until now. Affording Kaylee and Codie the opportunity to explore something completely out of the norm for them was amazing. Seeing their faces while riding the Long Island Rail Road, transferring into the subway system and them walking from lower Manhattan to Central Park was priceless and something they will talk about for a long time. During their visit, we went to the beach giving them the opportunity to see and swim in the ocean for the first time. Although at times they were a bit overwhelmed, it has opened up their eye for new opportunities and endless experiences. We are looking forward to the next visit and hope by then they have a niece or nephew to enjoy.
As we waiting for a little one, we decided to work on a few essential house projects. Ed’s been busy adding a half bath and finishing the laundry room. These are great additions for when we are blessed with a little bundle of joy. You can never have too many bathrooms, especially when it’s off the kids playroom.
