We met in college on a blind date at a fraternity formal. We were fast friends first and then eventually started dating. We got married for over 10 years now, and feel blessed to get to be with our best friend every day.
What matters most in our relationship and life is being a team together. There is always going to be hard times in life, which we have experienced, but knowing someone is in your corner is priceless. We are both very loyal to our family and friends and cherish and value those relationships.
The things that really make us happy are adventures together whether that means a dream trip to Europe, road trips on the weekend exploring a new restaurant or museum, laughing at each others dance moves, singing in the car at the top of our lungs, or snuggling as a family (including Cyclone) watching a movie in bed.
Our home is in a safe community and located in a cul-de-sac. We have a big back yard with plenty of space to play. There is a neighborhood park 3 blocks away.
I knew from the moment I met Matt that he was a fun low-key person. Matt makes everyone around him feel safe and loved. My favorite thing about Matt is his goofy nature, and the favorite part of my day is coming home and getting a big hug from Matt. He even coined the term “family cuddle time” when we sleep-in on the weekends and watch Netflix in bed with Cyclone. I feel lucky every day that we met and I think our children will be blessed to have Matt has a father.
Amy is a warm and loving person, and always excited to try new things. She has a passion for traveling the world and helps me be more adventurous. Amy grew up with a large extended family and loves spending time with every one as much as possible. Amy and I both have very close friendships and would do anything for those that we love.
Amy enjoys being around and playing with children. At family functions she is the first one to jump in and play with her cousins and nephew.
I love the life Amy and I have built together and cannot wait to grow our family.
