Since we both love to sing, it was only natural that we both took choir in college, where we met. We became best friends, always hanging out together, but eventually, Zach wanted a closer relationship. Even though I insisted we just stay friends, eventually Zach won my heart by singing to me, which, incidentally, is the same way he won my hand in marriage! We've been happily married for many years now, and still enjoy singing, as well as playing games, hiking and just being together. Oh, and playing fetch with our dachshund, Whitney! We both are very close to our families, and are very thankful for all the fun family time we get to spend with them!
We are currently renting a nice house in a neighborhood on the outskirts of town. We are saving to purchase a home eventually, but for now are very happy here. We have a nice living room, and two guest bedrooms, one that also serves as a small office. The other guest room is right beside the master, and, after I move out all my sewing fabric, will be the baby's room.

Zach is about the easiest guy to get along with; he is smart, funny, supportive and dependable. He is also a hard worker, and I am so proud of him! He is my best friend, and I can’t imagine life without him by my side!
Zach also has an awesome singing voice and was in a Barbershop group during college. Zach also enjoys playing video games, hiking, and spending time with family.
Life with Zach is always fun. We enjoy watching movies, walking, playing board/card/video games together, and just being together. He is, and always will be, my best friend.
I knew Zach would be a good daddy the first time I saw him pick up a baby, and I love watching him play with our nieces and nephew. He connects easily with children and they love him for it.
Most of all, Zach has a good heart. He loves God, and he loves his family. His faith and commitment inspire me.
When I was a kid, I remember making a list of requirements for my future husband and, while he doesn’t own a white horse or a suit of armor, Zach is still everything I ever wanted, and I am so thankful that God brought him into my life.

I knew Karen was the girl for me from the first day I met her. She is fun, outgoing, warm, and has a great sense of humor. We both have a passion for music, and that passion was what caused us to meet each other via our college choir.
One of the things I love most about Karen is how creative she is. She is a talented scrap booker, and enjoys quilting as well.
Karen has unfortunately exposed me to the “Twilight” series, as well as “Pride and Prejudice” and “Sense and Sensibility,” but redeemed herself as she has also introduced me to great musicals and classic movies, which we both enjoy.
Karen is great with kids, and she babysits our nephew and nieces whenever she can. She thoroughly enjoys her job in childcare as well, currently watching children ages 6 months to 7 years old. Karen’s playful nature and inner child really shine through whenever she is babysitting, and the kids love it.
Karen truly is an inspiration to me and those around her. As a child, she fought a very difficult battle with cancer. Although she is completely recovered physically, I honestly would have expected emotional scars to run deep. However, you would never know it if you met her. She has a wonderful disposition, and has a strong faith in God. She knows God got her through her cancer, and her courage and joy is founded in His love and grace.
