To Someone Special,

Hello! Thank you for visiting our website! We hope that this gives you a good idea of the kind of people we are and the kind of parents we aim to be. We understand the importance of this decision for you and we respect the emotions you must be feeling as you consider adoption.

Stephanie is an administrative assistant and plans to be a stay at home mom, and Sergey is a senior software engineer. We were high school sweethearts and have been married since 2009. We feel very lucky to have such a wonderful life together, and we can’t wait to share our lives, our families, and our passions with a baby.

We are humbled that you are looking at us to be parents of your child. We are happy to answer any questions you have about us or how we plan to raise your baby.

Who We Are

Stephanie & Sergey met in 2003. We lived on opposites sides of the country at the time but were destined to be together. During the summer of 2003, both Stephanie and Sergey joined a student ambassador program during high school that sent them to Europe for three weeks and they were in the same group of 40 kids. We quickly became best friends and once we returned home to our respective states, we would speak on the phone every day. Eight months later we could not deny our connection and decided to make it official. For two years we had a long distance relationship, seeing each other every couple months, until Stephanie moved across the country to be with Sergey during college. Then we were inseparable. It was two years later that Sergey proposed to Stephanie during Christmas break. Another two years later, Stephanie & Sergey moved back to Stephanie’s home state of New York and got married. We had a beautiful wedding at an aquarium surrounded by family and friends and have been living happily ever since.

We can't leave out our furbaby! Kiki is a new addition to our family and we couldn’t have asked for a sweeter puppy! Kiki is a 3 year old Husky/Shepard mix. She loves everyone she meets (and everyone loves her!) and gets along wonderfully with kids. She is such a gentle dog and is a pure lovebug!

Family is important to us. We always make time to see our families both local and out of state. The baby that joins our family will have grandparents to spoil them, aunts and uncles to look up to, and cousins to play with. This baby will never feel alone and will have plenty of joy and happiness in their life.

(A note from Sergey) As soon as I met Stephanie, her family welcomed me whole-heartedly, and has given me a greater understanding of what it means to be a family (especially a large family). Not just with living together (which we did for many years), but with the unrelenting willingness to help anyone struggling or in need.

Whether we're building new furniture for the house, sitting at home playing Super Mario, or even taking our dog Kiki out for a trip to the park, we are always doing something together and always have something to occupy our time. We can't wait to share our lives, our families, and our passions with a baby in need of a loving home.

Holiday Fun!

Just like that, the holidays have come and gone! Christmas is my favorite time of year. It’s so much more than just presents under the tree. It’s about family, traditions, and joy. Christmas has always been a big deal in my family. We all wake up early and go to my grandparents house in our pajamas, we have breakfast together and exchange gifts (mostly to the kids). After gifts have been unwrapped, we have a wrapping paper fight, we ball up the wrapping paper we just ripped open and throw it at each other, of course this is all done in good fun. Then we finish up the morning with our silly family photo! We all go back home for a couple hours before meeting again at someones house for Christmas dinner.

We have so many more traditions during the holiday season, but this is our Christmas Day. I love having such a close family. These times mean the world to me.

Happy New Year everyone!

These colors… Wow. I’m speechless.
Growing up on Long Island, I took this place for granted. Now that I’m an adult, I can appreciate the beautiful place that I live. This photo was taken at the “town dock” one night when Sergey and I decided it was a nice night to take our dog Kiki for a walk at the dock. We didn’t plan to be there for the sunset, it wasn’t any special night, we just went for a walk. This stunning photo was our view. I wish I could have used a better camera than the one on my iPhone to fully capture the astounding beauty that I get to experience. Growing up, I would always say that I can’t wait to move off of Long Island. I think that was just me being a “rebellious teenager” because I had no reason to feel that way. Well, guess what? I did move away and I couldn’t wait to come back. Besides missing my family, I missed this little island I called home. Long Island has so much to offer. There tons of businesses, shopping, food, music, attractions, and all different kinds of people from all walks of life. Plus, how can I leave out the beauty of the ocean only minutes away from wherever you are. I’ve thought about moving throughout the years that I’ve been back; New York is an expensive place to live, but I could never see myself anywhere else. This is home; this is where my family is; this is where my roots are. Long Island will always have my heart and soul.
