Busy, busy weekend!
On Saturday morning we woke up super early to head over to get mulch from the town depot. 51 bags later we covered our flowerbeds! That afternoon Mara went to see her cousin in her high schools performance of The Addams Family, The Musical. She was excellent and Mara was so happy to be in the audience to cheer her on. Saturday evening we all went to Bark at the Park in Citi Field to see the Mets take on the Rockies. Teddy had a wonderful time meeting hundreds of other Mets fan’s pups. We celebrated Cinco de Mayo with a cute sombrero for Teddy to not wear! Sunday we joined much of Simon’s family to remember his late uncle with a beautiful memorial service, followed by lunch with the family. It was wonderful to have the chance to come together and celebrate his life and spend time with each other. That afternoon Simon FINALLY took his car for a much needed car wash. While Mara have a chance to visit with her Grandma. Capped off with Sunday dinner at Mara’s parents home, soooo delicious!
