Who We Are
We love listening to music and singing out loud. We enjoy history and visiting lighthouses. Skinny Pop Popcorn and Edy's Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup Ice-Cream are our favorite snacks. We have a bird and two very friendly and playful cats. We rescued a handsome Cocker-Spaniel who sadly passed away a few years ago. It is our plan to rescue another dog one day. We're waiting for the day when our little one is with us so he or she can decide which one (or two) to take home with us :)
We are Soul-Mates and knew from our very first date that we would spend the rest of our lives together. We recently celebrated 6 amazing years together; November 1, 2017. We are incredibly happy together and have become the best of friends. We are 100% committed to each other and our future together.
We met through a mutual friend, our trainer at the gym - It wasn't really a "blind date" but kinda- sorta like one... She said to Barbara one day during her training session..."Oh by the way, I hope you don't mind but I gave this guy your cell-phone number. His name is Richie - he's one of my clients. I think you'll really like him." Well, after a few weeks of no call from Richie, she cleverly re-arranged our training schedules so we would have no choice but to accidentally-on-purpose bump into each other.
Finally, after our first encounter, Richie called. Our very first date was on November 1, 2011. Barbara showed up about 20 minutes late (which is actually on time for her) and to her surprise Richie was there patiently waiting (with a smile on his face). We talked and laughed for hours. It was obvious that we were both very comfortable and enjoyed each others company.
Guess you can say - "It was Love at First Sight"
We are a genuinely happy couple who have very similar values and interests. We have a passion for history and enjoy visiting historical sites. Barbara is a lighthouse enthusiast and has gone on several lighthouse tours. Richie is a musician at heart and has been playing the guitar since he was 5 years old. We enjoy the outdoors, spending time at the beach (watching the sunrise and sunsets), we often attend local concerts and music festivals. We enjoy shopping at the local farms for our fruits and vegetables. We also have a garden in our backyard where we grow our favorite veggies and herbs.
We like to exercise, take long walks and ride our bikes together. At night you would find us cuddled up on the sofa together watching movies on Netflix while eating popcorn and ice-cream.
We are family orientated and have maintained the family values and traditions that we were taught while growing up in tight knit families. Some of our most enjoyable days are shared with our families and close friends. Most holidays are celebrated at our house (always Christmas Eve). We enjoy decorating our house and making it festive for all to appreciate. We have fun hanging the lights and ornaments on the tree while preparing appetizers and dinner and of course yummy desserts. Our nieces and nephews are especially excited and look forward to having another cousin to grow up with and share family traditions.
We are animal lovers and have fostered many cats and kittens over the years.
We are overjoyed as we look forward to the day we are gifted as parents and raise a wonderful child together.
