After meeting through mutual friends, we started dating shortly thereafter. We instantly felt a great connection. As our relationship grew, we were not just a couple but best friends as well. We married in 2008 in front of family and friends. Less than a year later, we had the greatest experience of our lives, the birth of our son Brandon.
Brandon is outgoing and very energetic. He has a great imagination and is very inquisitive about just about everything. He loves playing sports like baseball and basketball. On weekends, it is very normal to see basketball being played in our driveway. Brandon cannot wait to be a big brother. He would love a sibling to engage in playing school, restaurant and on the playset in our backyard.
This past year, Sadie joined our family. She is a sweet and energetic puppy that we rescued from the local animal shelter. Sadie loves people and other dogs. She will do anything for a good belly rub.
We would love to expand our family through the journey of adoption. Our families and friends are excited for us and can not wait to welcome a new member to our family. Kevin's family lives nearby. We celebrate holidays, birthdays and many family gathering with them. They also try to make it to all of Brandon's school and sport activities. Debbie's family lives a little further away in Pennsylvania. Brandon loves going to see the ducks and chickens in his uncle's yard. We try to see each other as much as possible. There are lots of cousins to play with and serve as positive role models.
We have a lot of love to give and great values to provide for a child to prosper. We are excited to share the life that we have created. Thank you for your consideration. We wish you peace and support in whatever decision you make.
Our home is located on a quiet tree-lined street in the suburbs of New York City. We have a great yard to play in. In the summer, we have bbqs with family and friends. On the fourth of July we get to watch fireworks from our deck. In the winter, we have fun sledding in the yard. The playground, library and elementary school are in walking distance to our home.
Our town is fortunate to have a great school district. This and the location of Kevin's family was part of the reason that we chose it. The community was very welcoming and we continue to make new friends each year. Our town is very family oriented. Children have lots of activities to choose from including sports and artistic programs.
Since we are so close to a major city, we enjoy many opportunities going to zoos, cultural events and sports games.
Debbie is truly an amazing person. Nurturing, humble, and dependable . . . these are just some of the ways I would describe her. These qualities, along with her stellar character, make Debbie the great wife and tremendous mother that she is. In our lives she joyously takes on many roles - wife, mommy, friend, school volunteer, cheerleader succeeding in them all with true grace and without fanfare.
As a stay at home mom, Debbie has a far more important and impactful job than I. I'm so proud of the kind and generous young person our son Brandon has become, a great part of which is owed to having Debbie as his closest mentor and role model. In her free time, Debbie enjoys volunteering for the school's PTA and organizing its holiday celebration. She also loves to read, exercise, and enjoys girls night out with her friends and fellow moms when they can manage to find the time.
Kevin is an incredible man. He is caring and outgoing. Kevin has a great sense of humor and a great personality. He is a loving husband and father. I could not think of a better person to share my life with. He has a way of always seeing the bright side of situations. Kevin is an accountant and is an avid sports fan. On weekends, he coaches Brandon's soccer, basketball or baseball teams. He is patient with the kids on the team and helps them develop not only the skills to play the game, but the importance of being a great team player.
